Mammography - uses x-rays to visualize the breast tissue. This equipment is used to detect breast abnormalities as early as possible, which generally improves the effectiveness of treatment.

Screening Mammography - A screening mammography is an periodic examination that is a check-up when a patient is not experiencing any issues or had any past breast health issues.

Diagnostic Mammography - A diagnostic mammogram is usually ordered and performed when a patient has a lump, diagnosed with breast cancer within 5 years, is having pain or nipple discharge, or other medical concerns are present.

Breast Ultrasound - uses sound waves to form images of breast tissue.

Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to provide images of the breast.

Breast Biopsy - a procedure used to locate tissue to be removed for further study under a microscope.

Stereotactic Biopsy - a mammographically-guided machine uses ionizing radiation which helps to guide the physician to the site of the abnormal tissue.

Ultrasound-Guided Biopsy - use of ultrasound technology to guide a breast biopsy procedure.

Bone Densitometry - uses low-energy X-rays to scan the lower back, hip, or forearm. This helps to help diagnose osteoporosis, a disease that weakens bones and makes them more brittle and susceptible to fracture.
